croppercapture15.jpgIf you’re like me, you probably have an assortment of Education related blogs and sites loaded into your feed reader or bookmarks that you like to check on a frequent basis, but one way to add to your list of resources is to use the browser add-on, StumbleUpon.

If you are unfamiliar with StumbleUpon, it’s a free service that integrates into your browser that allows you to check out sites based on categories that others have found useful. Hitting the Stumble button in your browser takes you immediately to the next random page based on your interests. You are also able to give it a thumbs up or down based on your tastes to help train it to your likes, as well as point out new pages that others might not have heard about. Selecting the k-12 category from the start will give you tons of sites that educators have found useful, but you can select multiple categories to suit your needs as well.

StumbleUpon also has built in social networking allowing to find people that share your interest, and then browse of their favorite sites. You can download StumbleUpon at their site, here.
