Local: Access Your Kentucky Teacher Email Anywhere

21 September 2007 No Comment

mailbox-small.jpgMost Kentucky teachers are aware that they can log in to their school email from home or on the road by going to ketsmail.us by adding your domain name to your username when you sign in. This is pretty handy for the times you are at home or anywhere that you aren’t at school. What about when you don’t have a computer with internet access handy? Access your email with any web enabled cellphone.

I admit that most people aren’t that excited about checking their school email to do this, but sometimes it is a life saver. Keeping in mind that cellphones that access the web charge data fees, it’s nice to know that Outlook has a streamlined version for cellphones to keep the data usage to a minimum.

In your phone you can reach the Outlook Mobile Access by typing in ketsmail.us/oma. What you will find is a text-only version of your inbox. Pretty handy for checking it those times when you really need to and don’t have a computer. You will of course need to add your domain name to your username just like you would when logging in away from school.
