Make Bibliographies in a Snap with Easybib and Ottobib
Sep 20th, 2007 by Scott Walker
Easybib and Ottobib are two exceptional resources for making quick bibliographies. If you are using a hardcopy source with an ISBN number Ottobib will make your bibliography for you. Easily done by entering the number into the text box on it’s main page. Formats quickly to either MLA, APA, and a few others.
Not using a book? Easybib is your next quickest way to clean, well formatted bibliographies. This site only formats to MLA, however they do offer a fairly inexpensive subscription service that allows for other formats and features. Get started by using the drop-down boxes to select the type of source. From there it’s simply a matter of typing in the information in the required fields. When you’re all finished they give you the option of viewing or saving it as a Word file. Handy.
It’s not as simple as typing in the ISBN and hitting go, but it’s incredible for getting the format and correct information.
