Study Music Online, and Have Tests E-Mailed to the Teacher

12 February 2008 No Comment

I came across this site today and was blown away by the model they are using. Though it doesn’t seem comprehensive as of now, and I am in the works of contacting the creator, it does seem to offer quite a bit or promise. The site offers interactive quizzes for keyboard, theory, and song analysis. Each test will reveal the correct answer, provide an explanation, and send results to the teacher’s email. Being a music teacher, I feel that this site has the right ingredients, and with further development, it could become something huge. Seriously.

A couple of side notes though. They do seem to be having some difficulties with how they grade the answers, and there do appear to be several dead links. So, while it may not be a full service resource yet, the proof of concept is exceptional, and could develop into something great. When I hear from the creator, I will update you on these issues.
